Candy crush soda app on android suddenly stopped working

I have this app loaded on my Samsung Galaxy S5Neo phone but the last 2 days the app won't open.Getting message " Candy crush has stopped working".Never had this before but don't want to uninstall/reinstall as I guess I'll have to start from level 1 again (currently at about 879) & will lose all my bonuses (over 400 of them!)Have switched phone on/off but without success & app/phone software is all up to date.

Any ideas?

If you need to delete the app, then make sure you save your progress to a Kingdom account beforehand:

Open the app and in the bottom left corner tap the settings button. Tap the orange symbol and set up your account.

In regards to losing the boosters. These are meant to be used when won, storing them can use up a lot of memory and this will not help when it comes to the game crashing. You can read more about it here:

Thanks for your reply but cannot actually open the app so unable to save where I am at in the game. I'll probably just delete the app & not bother installing again.
