Pressed update now but it takes me to installation page which already shows the game installed. Tried deleting and reinstalling again but no success. Help!

Yesterday there showed up an update and now it's playable again. Don't know if the team did something. Will check later today for MIL.
Hi Marcus, the last I heard was from one of the moderators who was chasing it up, but he is away this week. He was waiting for various departments to get back to him over it. Hopefully he will be back Monday and I will see if there are any updates yet

In the meantime, if you have other, none Lumia devices, like a tablet, or pc, its better to play on there
I will prompt them Marcus, sorry for the delay! I know it sounds like we're making excuses but we have had a behind the scenes shuffle and some new moderators have joined us to help ease the workload that we were heaping mostly on one mod, which hopefully means that we get faster answers as they all have their own sections. I am going to go and flag the mod who will be dealing with this game and hopefully he will get to it before he leaves today
There won't be any quick fix but at least you know its been reported

Same issue here with iPad iOS 9.3.3
Hi Marcus, our moderator vanished yesterday but she had been off for over a week and was catching up with non King care stuff too, but I have added it to her list with all the others having the issues, so they can see its not just a one off. Hopefully she will see it on Monday (they are not around at the weekend) and can ask the studio. Sorry MIL is having the same issues too
Anything from the mods? My mother in law now has the same issue and same phone. Microsoft lumia
I tried without wifi but no success.
I'd rather not reinstall since as you mentioned it's not easy to get the progress back.
No idea which level, but only connected on one device. Windows lumia

I had the same issue. Have a Lumia phomne that was windows 8. Soda told me version needed updating but it wouldn't update so i downloaded and installed windows 1`0.1 on my phone now Soda loads, tells me I am about to play a hard level and then the phone goes back to the phone home page or main screen. I have reinstalled the game 5 times, restarted my phone after each try, cleared my browser cache, deleted items from the phone and nothing works so i bguess i am no longer playing Soda on my phone. Disappointed.
Update from another player who was told by a friend to disconnect the wifi and it stopped asking for an update.
See if you can update via the mobile network.
Hi Marcus, are you connected to the Kingdom? The moderators can restore progress, but it will be done manually, meaning that your scores etc will be lost, but you would have 2 stars up to the level you are on.
If you do decide to do that, I would advise screenshotting the progress on your map it just so you know exactly where you are.
Are you playing the game on another device? Have you updated elsewhere? And what level are you on before you try anything...just in case you are on the final level.
And what device are you playing on?
Having the same problem, tried everything that was mentioned here except reinstalling.
- tried soft reset (power and volume down)
- tried disabling auto update for time and date
But update not showing. According to the store it's at version 1.79.10.0
Can I safely reinstall without losing progress? Not linked with facebook.

I am so sorry. I am going to post it in the moderators list for them to see tomorrow, hopefully they might have some ideas or be able to ask the studio if others are reporting it.
Just out of interest, do you play it on another device? The reason I ask, my Paradise Bay game updates at different times depending on the device. The last time I updated on my Kindle I couldn't play on any other device for over a week. Which was worse as I can rarely get it to work on the kindle. But because I had updated it and the game data was saved for an updated version, until the other devices were ready, it just kept telling me to update.
Is your game linked with this email? Don't tell me any details as the moderator will send you a pm if she needs to, but she will be able to check what level you are on. It could even be that you are on the top level for now?

I know we have connection issues with Facebook at the moment but that shouldn't stop you from updating the game.
What phone is it you are playing on, and what level of the game are you on?
