The Game Studios tend to focus on where the majority of players are playing the games and on what technically can be programmed in Flash or HTML5. One exception though is Candy Crush Saga where there still are a lot of players enjoying the game on Facebook and King.com and where there are live events for all platforms.
Programming for mobile devices gives more freedom in setting up new features and events and I can only imagine how challenging it will be to implement those features in the new HTML5 format. My personal experience is that HTML5 is pulling a lot of resources and increase the time it takes to boot and run games when more features are added.
I have it like you Laura; loading the game on my tablet and I can sit comfortable in the sofa while playing Candy Crush Soda Saga :-)

LOL @ Mark. That is the best, isn't it? With a nice glass of wine by your side (or in my case, soda because I haven't had a drink in 20 months) and a nice roaring fire in the fireplace. Of course, it is probably getting very warm where you are now, so maybe a nice glass of iced tea or lemonade and a nice fan blowing on you as you play? You made my day. Thanks for the laugh and I agree programming for the mobile devices would be a nightmare, or extremely challenging at its best. I hope all of you have the best day, and especially you Mark!
This is an excellent question, and I, also, would like to hear an answer for this. I think it is very unfair since I am also getting sight-challenged and the computer screen is a lot better than my phone. I have a tablet also, and it is better for my eyes, but still a little small. That's a great question Jennie !! I'd like to know the answer to that one myself. I didn't even realize that was going on till I got a new phone a couple weeks ago. I can't see well enough to play all my games on a phone tho. I'd love some boosters on my PC. I know I have asked the mods before, but I'm going to ask again, and see if I get an answer. Thank you for your feedback !!!
