This event is actually great because it's linked to friends.

And players at the end of the map can easily take part. They don't need to pass levels themselves to advance but they need to be careful and pick friends who are not at the end of the map. Which is easy, before selecting 4 shipmates simply open their tabs to check on their progress.

Also Shipmates lets you pick the most active friends to play with, we probably didn't see it in the first round because it's been just launched to a wider platform

I've being playing Shipmates for a month as a test and I've been able to pick the most active friends for my crew😉 I could do 2 rounds of Shipmates a day without ever pinging my friends to play and help me 😁
