Sorry to hear. Then I'm afraid the only solution is to uninstall and reinstall, as I mentioned in my previous comment đ
Trick didn't work for me.
This type of error appears when something unknown goes wrong in the Soda app and it often indicates that the game app has become corrupted.
In this state, your game is offline: you will not be able to play normally, save progress, and make purchases. You can't contact Player Support directly from your app so they can't look into it.
You could try a trick, which helped @pitty_kitty once.(you can find her tutorial here)Â
Her trick: Force close the app (or make sure it's not running in the background)- switch off your internet connection - start the app but don't click "play" yet - switch on internet connection- then click "play"
If this doesn't work then the only solution to fix this problem is to uninstall and reinstall Soda app.
Unfortunately, uninstalling the app will delete all your boosters (they are stored in your deviceâs memory). If you have a King/Facebook account, you can recover all gold bars and progress.
If all or part of your progress is lost after reinstalling the app, create an account if you don't have one yet and contact Player Support so they can manually restore your progress to your account. How to contact:Â

Hello @gactor I did ask the CM. However, without any screenshots the Studio canât look at it, I am very sorry.
But you mention you see an error => still the same problem ('Oops something went wrong, etc.)

Did you contact them? I have lots of memory, and it is still happening after clearing the cache...
Thanks for your time and effort.. My husband has same set up on identical tablet and has had no problem whatsoever. So doesn't look like the version is an issue (unless something weird is going on).
Cache was already 0. Turn tablet off for 4', back on, no new updates and still the same problem ('Oops something went wrong, etc.). WiFi very stable.

like I said, no problems with the other 'Candy' games. Very mysterious. Please contact them.
Please try this: provided you saved your progress with a King account, log out of the game - clear the cache -> not data  that will delete your boosters - power off your device for at least 1 minute - restart your device - check for game and device updates - log back into the game. Also make sure you have at least 2GB free memory storage to run the game smoothly and try to connect to a strong and stable WiFi connection.
Clear cache in Android: go to settings - tap on apps - tap on candy crush soda - tap on storage - tap on clear cache (not dataâď¸)
Are you able to update Android software? Current Android version is 13 and your Android 7 version may be too low to run Soda game properly.
If that's not possible I can ask CM to look into this, but as it's the weekend I won't get an answer until Monday. What is your Game ID? Click HERE how to find.
Last update was 3 days ago. Galaxy Tab S2, Model # SM-T710, Android version 7.
Don't have any problems on the dozen or so other games I play nearly every day, including Candy Crush Saga, Candy Crush Jelly and Candy Crush Friends.

The video advertising feature, like all advertising and promotional features, is still a test feature in the game. Therefore, video ads are not always available and not found in all players' games or on all devices. (I myself have been playing CCSS since 2015 and have never seen ads in my game)
Did you check for game and device updates?
What kind of device do you play the game on? Make and model please. For Android: Settings- About Phone - (for example Model number SM-695F) For iPhone: Settings -General -About - (for example Model number MRY42QL/A)

It's on an old tablet without a means of taking a screen shot. When I start the game, after it is loaded and I touch 'Play', I get a daily bonus. When I touch the 'x' to close that screen, I see the gift box but then it opens empty and I get the 'oops screen'.
Also, I don't get to extend my games by viewing an ad (I see no ads at all). It's like I'm not connected and am playing offline.
