I lose my helmet rewards when I sign on, after signing out after level completion, why?

After latest Candy Crush update, when I complete a level and win a helmet/space ship reward. Sign out before starting the next level. Then sign back on later the reward is no longer there. I was wondering why? It's happening on both mobile and Facebook (computer).

Hi Harold, yes there is a glitch going on with the helmet challenge and the studio was made aware of this. We are all waiting for a fix.
