If you've created a King account (email+ password) on your Soda app then all your progress is being saved on King servers and can be retrieved if you reinstall the app or change devices. try to play any level a few times to help the game reconnect if you have temporary connection issues.
If you don't have a King account (or FB account) to save your progress, then you progress is saved solely on your device storage and can't be retrieved once you reinstall the app or change devices.
