Really Disappointed In Game!!!
Is anyone else having a really hard time passing levels? When I do get to pass a level it is not unusual for me to be stuck on it for a month or more. It's crazy! Unfortunately, I cannot afford to buy boosters to help me. Also by not being able to pass levels, I cannot play the team race or or the weekly challenge. I used to love playing this game but now I play sporadically hoping I miraculously can start to win.

Is Shipmates available in your game? It's a great event where players can earn some boosters without passing any levels because the friends you pick need to pass levels to let you sink your opponent's ships on Shipmates

Level 2096 is not extremely hard and can be passed without any boosters in my opinion 🙂
Though waiting to get 2 hours of double delish fish booster as daily bonus might help you a lot. When this booster is active, for every fish candy you match, 2 fish will be released targeting 2 blockers instead of 1.
Matching 2 fish candies will produce 5 released fish instead of the usual 3. Matching fish candy + color bomb or better yet coloring candy will produce a bigger swarm of fish targeting blockers.
This way you get to destroy more blockers in less moves.
This specific level has Sprinkleshell as advantage. You get to make a move without wasting one in reality.
I'd advise to use loaded Sprinkleshell on cyan candies only. This way the turtle destroys candies and surrounding honey blockers (making it easy for you to create special candies like color bombs) but also recharges again at the same time.
This is how I passed level 2096 without using any boosters
