Lost progress after ios update

Was on level 600 ish and it reset to level 1 for some reason. Need help getting progress back.

How did you save your game before Joe, with kingdom or facebook? Just go to the app and click in the settings in the bottom left corner and tap the icon for whichever one you were connected with and reconnect from there. This will return your progress.

I just played on my phone and did not connect to facebook or create a Kingdom acct. It did save my progress every time. Then I did the latest IOS update and it reset to level 1
