While I was playing the arcade game it shut down and I lost my progress!
If this helps it's only for a few minutes or so and then the problem shows right back up again. I've been kicked out twice in the last 24 hours for touching a coloring candy with a color bomb! I've been getting booted at least 5 to 25 times a day out of this game.. losing my win streak, my progress, my boosters, lives, and my patience! This is it though when it's happening when I touch the two most powerful boosters together, it's like it's just taunting me saying oh no you can't eat all the candy! Bye! This is really frustrating and very much testing my patience and I'm about to kick this game to the curb just like it does me 5 to 20 times a day! This is pathetic they need to fix this problem!

I’m sorry about this. I understand your frustration. I once had the candies get stuck and I had to force close my game because there didn't seem to be any progress. Later I discovered that I have to wait 'calmly' until the candies continue. (just a tip 😉)
You could try troubleshooting so that hopefully this doesn't happen again.
Troubleshooting: provided you saved your progress with a King account, log out of the game - clear the cache -> not data that will delete your boosters - power off your device for at least 10 seconds - restart your device - check for game and device updates - log back into the game - (re)play some levels. Also make sure you have at least 2GB free memory storage to run the game smoothly and try to connect to a WiFi connection instead of using cellular data.
*Clear cache in Android: go to settings - tap on apps - tap on candy crush soda - tap on storage - tap on clear cache (not data❗️)
*Clear cache in iOS: go to settings - tap on Safari - tap on Clear history and website data
