Update on additional rewards. I just reopened my game on my Windows 11 and it has checked off the fish.
And here it is showing before opening the next level.
And here it is on my iPhone. With different rewards.
I agree with @GrammyJane that 30 minutes might not be enough. I have a suggestion for the studio. Perhaps they can make one as a timed reward and the other is just a reward that gets added to our collection.

I was surprised to see this! It really disappoints me. When you are almost level 9000 and you are treated like a beginner!!
The levels get harder to do and yet they have taken EVERYTHING away, why???

This feature has a bug, I only received the 40 minutes of the wrapped candy, nothing of the 30 minutes of the Coloring Candy and the 30 minutes of life
Update, 4 hours have passed and they gave me 30 minutes of the color bomb

Can u tell me what happened to my gumball goodies??.. 2 days ago they disappeared, I've have it since it debuted..im very, very disappointed!.. how do I get it back??

@LoFiGummy I just opened the game and I'd like to give some additional feedback on this new feature.
I just created this print screen at 11:10 and it is giving me the boosters for 30 minutes. To get the next booster which is a wrapped candy I have to wait for 4 hours (actually 3 hrs. 49 min.). So that makes no sense that in order to use it I have to check back into my game in 4 hours to collect it and then once it's in my game then I have to wait in order to get the color bomb. I don't think the Kingsters thought too clearly on this because why should a player be strapped to their watch/clock in order to get the these rewards when we all have lives away from the game? It would make more sense if we only waited a half hour because chances are the players would still be playing the game so it would give better data for them to see if the players are taking advantage of this new reward.

Why did candy soda take away my gumball goodies??.. I want them back!.. I hate the extra daily boosters they gave, 4 hours later n u get 15 mins of some thing.. give back the gumball goodies..im a 9 year player, I want the gumball goodies back!..im very disappointed in this game now!
