slow on a macbook pro

Candy crush is very slow on a macbook pro via facebook - fairly new computer - latest OS - 5 minutes to load - hangs frequently

Got the link to work - cleared all caches (adobe and browser) - both safari and chrome hang at 68 percent - safari eventually loads the game but it is very slow, chrome stays at 68 percent.
