I have been king of bubblegum hill and not received the gold bars. This has appened at least 4 times. I understand that it is free but it is getting frustrating not getting the reward.
I can understand that! Especially as months later and its still not fixed. We don't have a time scale as its not classed as priority as its not part of game progression. I do know they are aware of it though. Unfortunately its likely to keep happening until it is sorted.

Hi Mickey, Unfortunately this seems to be an ongoing issue and we cannot understand why they just don't remove it until its fixed. I don't think anything you do will change at the moment, But because you have had to wait so long for a reply, and didn't grumble about it...I will ask if the moderator can help you
Do you have to check back in before the event is over to get the reward? I have had this happen again. I logged in the next morning and didn’t receive the gold.
