@CassD I'm sorry that you're husband was not able to come home before New Year. π I thought everything was set for his discharge. We might not understand sometimes why things happen the way they do. Only our Lord knows what's best for us.
His health is more important at this point and yours too. I hope you're alright and recovering from your cold.
Take care and please don't worry. Our Lord is in control.
God bless! β€οΈ

Thank you @SApple2. There were all kinds of hiccups to.prevent my husband's discharge, but they did give me time to get over the worst of that cold.
My husband was discharged yesterday and we are so happy that he is home. However, with the number of carers, therapists and district nurses coming and going throughout the day, the days have been very busy and I'm glad I'm feeling better or I wouldn't have coped.
I know the Lord is in control and has a plan for us, but sometimes we simply don't understand or are too impatient.
God bless! β€

I'm glad your husband is finally home and you're feeling better. π€β€οΈ
I believe we are not meant to understand our Lord's ways but to trust and have confidence in His Wisdom. I understand what you're saying. Sometimes our inquisitive minds and impatience get the best of us.
Patience is a difficult virtue. I get impatient a number of times especially in playing games. π I want to complete them smoothly and effortlessly but King makes it difficult to do so. Frustration is next in line. π Then the desire to stop for a moment then before you know it I'm playing again. The cycle goes on and on and on. π€£
In all seriousness, as difficult as it may be to deal with the life we're in, we're so blessed to love and be loved by God! There's nothing else I can ask for. π
I pray and hope that in time your husband won't be needing the care he's getting now. May his health be restored to the way it was or be better. But if it's our Lord's Will for him to continue in this state, may peace and resignation reign in his heart and yours.
God bless! π

Thank you so much @SApple2. He says His thoughts are not our thoughts and His ways are not our ways. Our Pastor says the Lord has three possible answers to our prayers: yes, no and not yet, and we need to accept that He knows what's right for us, however difficult it may be.
At the moment, there seem to be so.many things to do, ask and remember that my head is spinning!
I pray that my husband's health will.improve and that my new pills will be effective, but I leave it in the Lord's hands.
God bless π
