Regarding "Beat the Mod", how do you get to low levels using PC? It takes me a long time swiping from left to right with my mouse just to get to a previous milestone (that's why I don't participate in any game that involves lower levels in Soda). Is there an easy or better way to do it? I like the badge so I want to try. 😔

I posted two screenshots showing the 3 stars on level 1363 when I first played the level. I didn't want to continue with this topic on The Friends Holiday Site. I have been playing this level over and over to see if I can achieve the 3 stars again.
I also noticed a large gap between the first and last star. When I was play 2 stars were added to the first star and when I completed the level the last star was add giving me 2 stars.
no badge is okay. badges in our profile are hard to see anyway and has become pointless.
you can just recycle old challenges. we have a lot.
most of us want to compete and have you crown one of us champion for that challenge (weekly or monthly)
Hi @Yosca, I think that @DieOmimi made a very good suggestion.
Once a month, on the weekend challenge, you should add a tier 4 for the champions.
In this way the extra work for you will be in calculating the results, updating the ribbons won tally and a few more answers to players postings due to a higher participation.
I understand you very well and know from my own experience that a high level of engagement in the virtual world can lead to misunderstandings in the real world.
Let's just discuss how to strike a balance. Could it be a good idea for a "foreign" Mod to support you?
For the Champions of Champions, maybe we could offer another badge. All champions with 10 wins will need 10 more wins to earn this extra exclusive badge. However, they are only allowed to participate in the first (or last) weekend of each month for this badge (they can participate every week, as they do now, but only on a specific weekend of the month for another step towards the new badge).

I was talking about 1 challenge every 4 weeks not 1 challenge/week.
We abandoned the Weekend Challenge and the Champions Challenge at the end of the year before last year (2022) because we couldn't do it anymore. I was working and wanted to rest a bit on the weekends. In addition, there were too many players and the administration had become too much.
That's exactly my point. At the moment I am the only Soda mod doing the challenges - eventually there will be more participants - even with the help of a player I am the one who is ultimately responsible, so I will have to check - I also have a life outside the Community. In short, it should be fun for both players and mods.
Well, that was just an approach we had done in CCFS. I know that badges have to be very exclusive and we can't have a new one every month. But maybe one a quarter?

I would also like to see some suggestions as to what kind of challenges you guys like. It's quite complicated to come up with a new challenge every week and this would make it easier for me.
@Yosca we had a monthly Champions of Champions contest in CCFS 2 years ago (parallel to the Weekend Challenge). Here's how it worked: it was a team competition, all the champions were one team. They had to reach a certain goal together on all 4 weekends of a month (for example, weekend 1: free 7.000 octopuses). We were, I think, 20 champions.
The tasks for the champions were always the same as in the normal Weekend Challenge. For this weekend (if the Champions Challenge had already existed) the champions would have had to play level 362 as well, with the same conditions (rules). The goal for all champions could have been: Reach a total of 1.800.000 points at level 362 (with the same rules: each screenshot must have more points than your target and must not exceed 100.000).
Only champions who successfully participated in at least 3 weekends received the monthly badge for champions in CCFS (there were no other prizes). The badge was created by the CM, a new one every month. The CM has also drawn up the general opening thread with the basic conditions. The weekend task was set alternately by @MountainMom or me. If you want an example, here's the link.
If you're the only mod in Soda hosting the Weekend Challenge and the Champions Challenge, it's going to be a heavy burden for you. Of course, I can understand the players. They have fun and don't see the administrative burden. If you decide to host a Champions Challenge, you'll definitely need help managing it. Maybe one of the players could help manage this new type of challenge. Having each champion do the administrative work for a month could take the pressure off you.
