When playing a level and one runs out of chances, why are retries now limited to 10

Maybe a one-off glitch happened in this feature.
I'd check for troubleshooting steps first. If you pass level 20 again and the issue persists as if in a loop, please let me know

If you own Android mobile, visit device Settings - Apps - Candy Crush Soda Saga - Storage - Clear Cache. Be careful not to click "clear data" which deletes your boosters
If you own Apple mobile, visit Settings - Safari - Clear History and Website Data
If you own a Kindle fire, check this out

I don't know any feature called Soda Stream.
Maybe you mean the Rewards Pass since you mention levels? Or Soda Supreme where you get rewarded by spending gold bars?

Hi. My question re unreceived rewards for finishing level 20 and then being put back on level 20 of Soda Stream has not been answered.
Thank you. It used to be 3, then went up to 5 but now itβs 10 and no matter how many extra lives you buy, the extra lives stay at 10 but used to increase with extra tries.
Another problem I have is that I reached/passed level 20 on Soda Stream but did not receive the promised rewards. Instead I have been put back on level 20. What must I do?

What do you mean by retries exactly?
The number of lives available for you to make another attempt?
the number of extra moves you can purchase to keep trying winning the level instead of failing?
Both lives ad extra moves are usually 5 in the game, unless you're in a special group of players that is testing a different version of features
Usually but not always, players can fail a level many times and the game increases the number of extra moves to purchase each time they make an attempt but this option may not be available to all players.
