Freezing during play.

Is there a way to reboot a level without stopping the current game? I have had multiple freezing levels. It seems when I utilize a candy fish it freezes. I can still push other things like settings and a graphics response to the power up buttons but nothing on the level itself. Then I just have to lose and restart. Please let me know if you can help

I am sorry to hear that the fish is causing problems 😕 Unfortunately, it is not possible to change anything during play. You could try troubleshooting to see if that resolves the freezing.

Troubleshooting: provided you saved your progress with a King account, log out of the game - clear the cache -> not data that will delete your boosters - power off your device for at least 10 seconds - restart your device - check for game and device updates - log back into the game - (re)play some levels. Also make sure you have at least 2GB free memory storage to run the game smoothly and try to connect to a WiFi connection instead of using cellular data.

*Clear cache in Android: go to settings - tap on apps - tap on candy crush soda - tap on storage - tap on clear cache (not data❗️)

*Clear cache in iOS: go to settings - tap on Safari - tap on Clear history and website data

What device are you playing on? It helps us to know in terms of troubleshooting the issue.

While it's not possible to close down the game entirely and return to a level that has started, it might be better to see if the root problem can be fixed instead. You can start by following these steps to see if it helps:

1) Restart: Force close all open apps and restart your device by following these steps:

Completely close your game and any other Apps open on your device
Turn off your device and wait 10 seconds before turning it back on
Open your game and ensure you are connected to your correct King/Facebook account

2) Check for game updates: Check the app stores to update your game's latest version, if needed, and the latest software update for your device.

3) Check for device updates: Ensure you’re running your device’s latest software.

4) Check your device's memory. Please make sure you have a minimum of 2 GB of free space on your device.Removing any unused Apps, pictures and videos can improve game performance. This can vary between devices.
