I am also dealing with the problem with the McDonald’s ad. Had it numerous times today and had to quit the game each time

My game is doing the same thing. I’ve been playing for YEARS and I’m getting pretty irritated. Did updates, cleared cache, restarted iPad, nothing works. FIX THIS!!!!!!!!
The McDonald’s ad in Spanish keeps locking up and I lose my extra spend. This has been going on for a couple days. Why isn’t it fixed?
There is a glitch in that particular ads. It has been reported to the studio.
You may want to contact players support from your game app for compensation 😉
allot of ads freeze or you can’t click out of them & lose the boosters you already earned

McDonald's Ad (Spanish) locks up the game. It can play (10 seconds) it can play repeatedly (10 seconds each time.) When it comes up, it cannot be closed, I cannot return to the game. I cannot get to the support tab to report the problem. I must reboot my phone (iOS 17.3)
Because the ad is positioned off screen in default landscape mode, there is no way to get to the information about the ad vendor. The ad video (small white box) can be played full screen as a pop-out, but has no other controls visible on screen.

Can’t get past McDonald’s ad. No place to close or collect reward.

having same issue - screen was rotated so that didn’t make a difference
Today when trying to get extra moves or boosters, this ad comes up that spreads far across the screen. You can’t exit out of it and have to close the app and reopen it, losing moves, boosters, and any streak you might be on.
It seems like one ad gets fixed and another is screwed up! Now it stupid bubble pop. Waiting to continue a game with 5 more moves, 1st video is fine, second one nope! Watch it all, and the black screen with the non working X, so you loose the boosters and have to start the game all over. But let me click an X 1 second to soon, and I get an “oops!” Bull crap “oopse”!! I quit playing this game several years back for the same reasons and I’m very close to doing it again. Get it together King
I really enjoy playing Soda and I took your survey, but it is not easy to answer w/o giving an explanation. I got irritated because of the ads that didn’t work. After watching the ads that run, then not getting the boost I was watching to get or ad not running, then going to black screen and unable to get out of the black screen and no booster either. VERY AGGRAVATING and time consuming!
I paid for this game years ago solely to avoid the ads and now I get ads after every play. What a rip off
I’ve had the same issue! You sit thru the videos and then the screen goes black, and the X doesn’t work! 30 minutes later, screen is still black and the X still doesn’t work. So you lose the booster you sat thru the video for, and you have to restart everything, so if you were trying to earn the 5 at the end, to bad, so sad, you just wasted your time. So dang frustrating!!
I watch the Ad to the end and it fails ! Especially the water restoration one. Fix your Ads

I have missed out on additional plays because the ad will not bring me back to the board i was playing. Ive also lost bakers hat because of this. Rather annoying!

I hope the developers/debuggers understand that once that defective ad catches your device, rebooting the device is the only way to get out
Thanks for at least responding. It is SO frustrating. I’m about to give up on Candy Crush. Can’t they just remove the ad from the rotation?

It had been reported to the studio (I think it was on Monday). As a big company, they are working fast as they can. You know how fast big companies can be, right? 😉🤪
