The iteration we had was a work-around due to an unfortunate glitch, while the team kept working hard on a fix.

With that said, we have just managed to fix it and now you will be able to claim the throne as many times as possible. The event will still run for a day every day for the time being though.

I want to thank you all for the patience and to keep encouraging you to send feedback our way and help us make your experience better. I'll make sure we are here to read it and address it.

Hi everyone!

It looks like the pesky Bubble Gum Troll is at it again causing havoc! He has decided to temporarily change the rules and he now wants to keep his throne for longer and stop you getting his Sodalicious rewards.

What are the new rules?

You now have one chance a day to try to conquer the throne. Play the five levels to win the rewards. After crowning yourself, you will need to wait until the day after to have another shot at conquering it again.

You will not be able to sit in the throne multiple times a day. A king needs to rest!

If you have some questions around the new way the event will work for now, feel free to drop them in the comments. I'll do my best to answer each and every one of them.

The issue around Bubblegum Hill has been proven to be a bit tricky. The event is for now gone and we are working on changes to it that will help tackle this situation.

I want to take the time to thank you all for staying positive and respectful, you are such a great Community! I'd also like to apologise in behalf of the studio and to let you know that we are working our hardest to make sure that the scenario is as optimal as possible.

I will agree with Blueisme. My challenge froze after two attempts today. I have completed the most recent update.

Could it be that the update for IOS comes later?

Checked it out, latest version CCS on IOS is 1.128.2

Me too. Have an ipad and latest update Nov 27.

In my case, App version on Android went from 1.128.2 to 1.129.2 - so that you may check your own version. As far as I can tell, the issue is completely fixed in this version (running for the 5th throne right now).

Just make sure you have the game up to date. We are still monitoring your feedback but the fix should have been implemented. That doesn't mean that the issue is not reproducing again, but it's unlikely. In the event that this is the case, please, by all means, come here and let us know. We will investigate, as always.

I've already completed the Bubblegum challenge 4-5 Times today.....

Is everyone else fixed? I played once then frozen. This isn’t even a complaint just a request for status of Bubblegum Hill. I thought I read earlier that a workaround was being released but apparently either that didn’t work out or they have again decided to have us only win once.
Knowing what the true status is will help everyone - I think. If one win is all that is alowed why not remove the Bubblegum game option from our screen after we win and then we will know it is no longer playable. Thanks.

I'm still locked out at present, on Android - even after trying stopping CC Soda / clearing cache / restart. Do I just need to wait a bit more or is there any specific action I shall take to get former behavior back?

Regarding @Alessandro_S 's comment (and @dalley 's), things might take a while for some of you. The studio is deploying it and has been doing so for a couple hours now but, given the size of our community of players, chances are that some of you need to wait a bit.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience but stay patient, soon this will be fixed. And if anything, happens, like always, you know how it goes! You let me know, and I pass your feedback on to the team.
