I have a very active group of friends, but my friends are passing levels and I’m not getting the chances that I need to sink my opponent’s ships. Is anybody else having this issue? How do I fix this?

I got a round where I won, but now I’m having trouble again with my friends passing levels and me not getting a turn to fire at my opponent. Can this please be fixed permanently??
I thought this was fixed, but evidently not because I’m still having issues.

You know this game very well and all the tricks. I’m not sure if anyone here will be able to help you. My recommendation is to wait a few more weeks to see if the studio has a fix in the next few updates. If not, then come back and repost your issue…but do it in the support section. That section is monitored by CM and Mods often.
I had the new version of shipmates that required you to complete your levels by yourself, but a few days to 1 week ago it switched back to playing with friends. As a matter of fact, I don’t lose shipmates very often. That’s why I’m frustrated with this current round.
Then, do you have the old or the new version of this shipmates feature? The new version requires you to play new levels for hits instead of waiting for shipmates.
Yes they are. I also refresh frequently to make sure I’m not missing anything. Unfortunately this time nothing is helping me.
Are your friends playing the same time as you? You can check their profile to see if they are online or offline. When I see my friends playing new levels, I always refresh/restart/clear cache the game to get the hits. I do this often while I see my friends online.
But if your friends played when you’re offline, then you get only 3 hits max 🙄☹️

for the umteenth time I play bake a cake and just as we are close to finishing getting the top two prizes, progress goes away and start a new bake arrives. I can see in inbox that cake is backed and I participate in helping back, but haven’t received top prizes in last multiple times

The stars used to grow islands are full and I'm not being presented with the options for additional islands. Happened after a recent update.
I log on every morning to get daily rewards. Today it said i missed yesterday (wrong) and started me back on day one again. This has happened multiple times. please debug and fix!!
Why have you completely nerfed all of the rewards so that instead of 1, 2, 4 hours you get 5, 10, 30 minutes?
