Thanks for your feedback, I thought the rewards in the new version were the same.
Version E that’s an issue the Studio is investigating and a fix will likely be included in an update 🙂
Ours is not locked, and the reward is now fish.
Yes, I just figured it to be another glitch or perhaps they did away with it already until Team member stated receiving reward for a few pieces when I baked 20+ … My system gets cleared and any updates done daily prior to using laptop. But thank you for the recommendation for sure! I'll touch base with @LoFiGummy before contacting support for lost items. Here are my previous screenshots, it should be pretty obvious if there is a bonus or not.
This may be a problem with the game on your computer. Please clear the temporary save files on your computer before completing the cake and try completing it again.
There is a 1/4 chance that my comment will be "moderated". If there is another similar post, please ignore it.
In the past 3 weeks, I have seen 4 different cakes, and even teammates on the same team got different versions. Version A, you don't need to bake the cake, you get all the rewards when the cake is finished. Version B, the top three reward version, in this version you must complete at least one level to get all the rewards. Version C, the locked version, must complete one level on each level to obtain the rewards of this level. Only a few people can obtain the lollipop hammer. Version D, top three rewards + locked version, you must complete at least one level in this version to get all rewards. Version E, the top gray button version, an unfinished cake, this is shared by a group of friends, I have never encountered this kind of cake. So everyone may encounter different situations. Since 4/4, the top three rewards have been changed to 3 color bombs.
In my case, I received it. Of course, everyone's situation may be different.
It is recommended that you take a screenshot before claiming the prize next time, and then confirm after claiming the prize.

Everyone on our team has the new cake feature I had not noticed the problem until I won 1st place baker and didn't receive extra reward for the last two weeks.
Yup! That also seems to be another variant of BaC; if you are the best baker you will receive an extra reward. I still have the 'regular' BaC and have never seen any other variant 🤷♀️, but I think @steventseng has also had a variant of BaC.
Thanks @Yosca, I haven't had a problem with it but @Ibnana said she didn't get the extra boosters for coming in 1st. 🤷
There are different variants of Bake a Cake. You should have seen a notification stating that you must bake at least 1 slice of the cake to receive the reward. In my team, 2 members also had this notification, while other members did not. If you click on the "i" at the top left you can see which variant you have 😉
There's what looks like little padlocks on the right side, I think, each layer until you bake a level. Once you bake one they disappear. I checked the account I never play and here are the locks.
I don't know why you wouldn't get them. Could you have missed it when you claimed it?🤷

You baked 20 or more pieces so you had the most. Grama was #2 with one or two more than I did at #3. I think we were around 6-8 pieces.

Oh, so I'm not alone with the text issues!!??! Can't use suggestions or it types the whole word twice. It honestly takes forever and I use my laptop with a stylus!! What a mess…
