I really hope it's just an issue and not some new gimmick where it's only available for days. Having played today, it really takes some of the fun in completing levels away, as the goals are gone. The reason I keep playing hard right now is for the weekly contest badge.

I already reported it! There may be an issue that caused the Race to be removed from the game as a precaution (hopefully temporarily).
I received this message too. Completing those episode races were the best way for players to earn gold bars. Please tell us why this is happening.
I lost that feature as well today, after more than 10,500 levels, I was suddenly told that the time had run out.
So I guess that game is (also) no longer a permanent feature, but will be put under the list of games that are suddenly time limited for some players.
Highly disappointing.
I have lost my ability to play in an episode race as well. I have already tried your suggestions, and nothing changed.

Please try force close your apps, turn off your device for at least 10 seconds, restart your device. Check for any device or app updates and ensure you have at least 2GB free memory storage to run the game smoothly. Hope this helps 🙂
