Are you playing Candy Crush Saga or Soda Saga?
If you are playing Candy Crush Saga, which streak are you talking about? You must have received a different version as I don't remember seeing a pop-up for me to keep my streak intact!! Can you show me a screenshot of that message that asked you to pay?

I am very sorry to hear that your Daily Bonus was reset to day 1. It cannot be restored 🙁. The only exception is if you are offered to restore the Daily Bonus streak with gold bars.
There are a number of reasons this reset might happen: device updates, the time you logged in, and one-time glitches may cause this.
You can find info in Help Center: My Daily Bonus restartedIf your Daily Bonus streak resets regularly, I would advise you to do some general troubleshooting as a precaution so that this hopefully doesn't happen all the time.
Updates: Make sure you have the latest game and device updates
Memory: Do you have sufficient memory on your device? King recommends having at least 2GB free memory storage to run the game smoothly.
Clear Cache: in Android: go to settings - tap on apps - tap on candy crush soda - tap on storage - tap on clear cache (not data❗️)
————— in iOS: go to settings - tap on Safari - tap on Clear history and website data
