Yellow whistle

I have been fighting for first place collecting the yellow whistles against another person. I want know how this person is getting 400 to 600 yellow whistles a level. I finally catch up because this other person must have take. A break (went to the bathroom, fridge to get a snack whatever) and seriously they come back and in five minutes they’ve got another thousand yellow whistles collected. What am I missing?? Is this even a real person I’m playing against in the challenge?
