very disappointing to complete every level and all that happens is a door to play levels that don’t count towards any contests or tasks.

Completing a door level does not unlock new main levels or progress you through the game's story.
Your performance on door levels will not contribute to any ongoing competitions or leaderboards you might be participating in.
These levels often have unique themes or mechanics, designed to provide a different gameplay experience without affecting your main progress.
