@claudia_calamar has confirmed this is a test. The equivalent test happened from April to May; players thought their game had glitched.
(I am not talking about Soda Islands.)

I don't know about this. I've never even had a hungry bear.
Here is my original post:
Update: This is a repost because the forum glitched while I was editing. It is not about Soda Islands.
Claudia's comment First test (Golden Pins & Previous Levels)
For those who have been there since last April, we are facing the same "upcoming test" again. This applies to everyone who has also received the new Soda Islands. We were able to get this feature cancelled in May. This is less than two months ago.
A week after the World Cup final, we are greeted with this:
Claudia has confirmed this button is part of a test, and has replied to one post:
Thank you for your feedback, I really mean it when I say it helps us look into what to explore further and how to improve the experience for all players in the game :) The team is exploring this topic specifically, but for now we are testing the new experience without being able to replay levels. But again, I promise we are looking into this and always thinking on how to improve things going forward in the game.
The scenery and the interactive house-building objective are a great way of bringing new life into Candy Crush Soda Saga and to distinguish itself from the original hit game. The Soda Islands came at the same time as the feature I am evaluating about.
Nevertheless, I strongly recommend you refrain from playing any levels (or even click the button) during this test. I held my position during the previous test, completing exactly one level during that test period, and only for attempting to load back Soda Islands.
The inspiration for this level selection layout is clearly inspired by Royal Match and Homescapes, which crucially never supported replaying old levels in the first place. Some of us also saw the score counter being hidden; both rival games do not individually score levels. For this layout, not only will you not be able to replay an old level, but you will also not be able to see upcoming hard and milestone levels.
I also suspect many ongoing and former tests across both Candy Crush Soda Saga and Candy Crush Saga are of this nature. The removal of the Free Switch as a free reward based on "The team is currently reviewing and adjusting the booster setup as a whole, including exploring new boosters and how they’re used in the game" (by QueenB) was also heavily opposed; I suspect the new booster setup would still be inspired by these rival games as Royal Match and the other Candy Crush sequels notably does not feature the Free Switch. I have built a win streak of 4000, because the Free Switch and the
We want to keep the CCS games distinct from the rivals, not copy from the rivals in design and gameplay character. Please do not play any further levels.
I am trying to edit my post, but it would say "would appear after it is approved."

I am currently looking to edit the post.
I have started throwaway accounts. As of now, only those which have received Soda Islands will also receive the new button.
We want to keep the CCS games distinct from the rivals, not copy off from the rivals in design and gameplay character.
Before, every game was designed by Human beings, so CCS was distinct from the rivals, unless the SAME designer moonlighted in the rival company 😆
Now, every game is designed by the SAME AI system, so every game is similar to each other 🤣
Please note the poll is for the "new experience without being able to replay levels," not the Soda Islands.
Hi Claudia,
Thank you for the prompt response.
I support the Soda Islands update. However, the test is orthogonal to the Soda Islands update. I am just buffering my stance on the test with the Soda Islands it came along with.
Thank you for the fast response, appreciate your feedback.
I miss how they were dynamic and changed with seasons. Also, you could revert to old levels easier. Why couldn't they just hide level switcher like in PRS, behind the button? Nothing is good about this new map.
Thank you Z0ran for the feedback. I am curious what you prefer with the dioramas and what you dislike with the new map? And is there anything you would keep from the new map?
it is awful, i miss dioramas.
Hi __mulliganaceous_, thank you for your feedback. We do have indicators for hard levels and milestones levels reflected on the tiles, but after reading feedback here from you and other players I see it's not clear this is reflected on the islands. The hard levels are reflected by the little Octobites that also corresponds to the hard level coloring. The milestones might be harder to see which I understand, they are a bit pink and look different from the other tiles :) We are working on solutions to improve the clarity here. As for replaying levels, this is like mentioned before a test we are running right now.
