I have been getting the above for about 2 weeks when trying to load on my PC.
Should I just dump the game and go onto something else? Will the problem ever be fixed?
Or is the a fix to the error?

Hi @Batchief, now I know why you can't play the game. There is a Facebook glitch. They sent this message to King.

Response from Facebook: There was an issue that occurred that affected all web games. A fix is being released and functionality should be restored shortly. Apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for your prompt reaching out to us!

Hi all,

I'm sorry that this is taking long but the issue is in relation with Facebook and it's taking longer for us to fix than we had hoped. I hope we can come with good news around this by early next week but I cannot make any promises, sadly. All I can do is confirm that we are well aware of it and are trying our best to fix it as soon as we can.

Hi @psawyer, how are you doing today? I've been playing less on my games and looking for images to post fun things in the off topic areas. It's frustrating and I can empathize with all of us and what's going on. I haven't heard anything yet. I am going to tag @Xarly to see if he can get us any kind of update.

@susanroybal, I didn't see any of those messages you're talking about. Were they on this thread or a different one? Do you have a link for it? Anyway, this has been etremely frustrating. I want to play on fb with my fb friends. I like the idea of extra gold bars to compensate. @Elsa, I know this is a long process, but is there any word as to about how long this will take? Or, if we will get some goodies for our frustrations??

It is strange how no other game has been affected. I read one comment that said that her or his Candy Crush Soda was fixed and they gave them extra gold bars to compensate. Also did you notice there are several things we are asked to do. Go on different sites to log on or uninstall and reinstall?? FRUSTRATED!! Level 1237. comment

It's now July 25th and I am still getting this error. My mother is getting it too, she also plays on a windows surface through facebook.

@Elsa, it's still happening this morning. I play on facebook with a surface pro 3 using windows 8. Only with Candy Crush soda. Not with Jelly or just Candy crush. I've tried playing with both google chrome and firefox as my browsers. Both crash.

I am having this issue now, only with Candy Crush Soda. I play through facebook on my Windows surface. I've cleared my cache, use google chrome and checked to make sure everything is up to date. Is there a fix? Been going on for almost a week.

Hi @psawyer, why do these problems have to start as we are going into the weekend? If you have a tablet have you considered signing into the Kingdom instead of Facebook. You did write that when you try to play through the Kingdom it starts you back at level 1. Where are you trying that - king.com? or on your tablet trying to log into the Kingdom? If you can play through the Kingdom then we could get your progress back but you have to get your user ID #. I am heading offline in a bit so if I have to give you any links I won't be able to do that until tomorrow morning. I can respond on my phone tonight but not give you any links.

Elsa, this is happening to me, too. What is the resolution, please? I'm playing candy crush soda saga through facebook, using a tablet with windows 8, google chrome and firefox both get the glitch. I've reset cookies, rebooted, etc. to no avail. Help!! If I try to play through Kingdom, it wants to reset me to level 1. No thanks!
