Couldn't Connect?

I'm playing Candy Crush Soda on my laptop and every time I click on that little mini game you play with other people it gives me an error message saying "Couldn't Connect! No internet access Try again later". It's been going on for a few days now and I'm definitely connected to the internet.

I am sorry to hear about the issue in your game!! I would like to clarify about something... are you talking about the "Episode Race" OR the "Soda Squad"?

1) Episode Race --> Is the event where we race with 4 other players to to win all 15 levels in a single episode!! It contains Start and Finish marks, and once we finish the Race, we win Gold Bars if we are in one first 3 places!!

2) Soda Squad ---> This is a feature where we play with 4 other players to gain 800 points with 3 gifts altogether!

So, which feature are you talking about? As per my experience, we need strong internet connection to play both these events. Otherwise, we do see that "Couldn't connect ..... " message.

If you are having issue with only these 2 special features, but regular levels are working fine, you do not have to worry about it

The Soda squad is designed in such a way that even when we play without internet, the points are added to the event once, once the Internet is back on. So, continue playing your game!
If it is the Episode Race: as per my experience, you must have a strong internet connection for your level progress to be recorded!!

I would suggest you to log out of Facebook / King.com --> close down all the Apps ..> Turn off your Laptop for 10-15 minutes and turn it back again. The internet connection signal to your house could be fine... but the signal from the Modem to your PC could be week (again talking from personal experience). I am not a tech savvy
