Why does candy crush go from 1 to 15 on the gifts that you get everyday?

I play this game everyday and get my gifts that pop up on the game when you first open the game and yesterday I was at 15 and this morning it took me all the way back to 1 again....

I assume that you are referring to the daily booster. Sometimes it does reset back to day 1 but on day 7 it's back to double rewards again and repeats every 3 days.
