Seems they are keeping quiet about this, is it a possible attempt by the makers to generate money, trying to get players to purchase rather than wait for free lives.......there are a few other posts about no longer receiving free items....0

Me too, on level 4257, changed yesterday to an hours wait. I’ve email King but had no reply. I hope it’s not going to stay like this 🙁0

I'm not sure if it's a bad thing now, I was wasting a lot of time on CC and now I can't cos I'm sure not buying lives which is what they are trying to push us to do....1

This is really annoying..it started yesterday and i thought it was just a bug and would be fixed ASAP but still waiting..i play on 3 devices and they’ve all got 1 hour wait now..is this going to be fixed or is it the new delay..just tell us so we know where to stand! I’m level 51771

If that’s the new norm, I’ll find a new game. I play on my breaks at work just to pass time, but 5 hours to reload lives. I’m sure there are similar mindless games out there. Disappointing.1

I’m only on level 688 and the hour wait per life happened to me too I almost feel like it’s not worth playing if I have to wait an hour per life.......... 0

I am concerned that so many of you are experiencing this same problem. I can't imagine why they would increase the wait period when it already takes so long to generate lives. I will tag @Xarly and see if he has answer for you. Hopefully this is just a bug!
