How can I synchronise my Candy Crush game on my iPad with my Macbook?

On my iPad I've 2005 reached level 2005 but when I open the game on my Macbook I'm taken back to level 1.

    When you open the game on Facebook, do you see stars on the levels? Are you sure it's not the game that has started you on a lower level, so you need to scroll to your current one?

    Sorry I should have answered your question.  Yes I do see the stars on the lower levels and I've tried scrolling to the level I reached on my iPad but gave up because it was taking too long.  Help!

    Thank you so much for the screenshot, just as expected your progress is safe.

    There seems to be an issue with some browsers which start the game at the beginning so one has to scroll to get to your current level which can be a pain. 

    There is a trick, however, you need to select the portal icon which is on the top right corner and select the latest episode:




    This should help you get back on track :)
