I have recently received the new version of the soda team. I have found I do not receive lives from friends.
Although I do receive lives from my team mates.

How do you request lives from your teammates? I give lives to my teammates when they request but I don’t see where to request.
Lives can sometimes get lost with game update, when the game crashes, after clearing the cache in the browser you're playing or clearing the cache in the mobile app.
Mailbox can also be reset after many technical issues either in the browser that you play on Facebook or on Facebook. Regarding mobile technical issues, either in the game itself or on the mobile device you are playing on, it can cause a reset of life.

In the "Soda Squad" App, there is a way to ask for lives from Facebook friends. However, currently there are issues with Facebook. I myself have it, endless spinning icons on my profile. I have been told, that facebook is working on it.
Could be as simple as getting sync up to facebook?
