No...this is the center icon at the bottom of the display where the message, phone, contacts, and camera icons are. It changes as you use each app. But as I said, I played Candy Crush, exited back to my home screen, and it showed Candy Crush Saga as the last app used.

When I fail to complete a level in CCSS I get a screen that asks me if I want to purchase for gold bars or watch 3 ads for a total of 5 moves. I disagree because I have seen plain single candies land on top of the striped candy next to a wrapped candy and then the striped candy gets launched. Hence the inconsistency.

Yes it has. I had a game on 1148 where I created a wrapped candy and then had a four match which dropped a striped candy above it. Before I could sweep them together, the striped candy went across and as it did, the wrapped candy below it went away.
