There was an update today on Android but this extremely annoying "feature" is still there. I can't play this game until it gets fixed. Good job pushing loyal customers away from your product. I’m in the same situation. iphone x iOS 11.3 (15e216) App version 1.112.9 It's a feature not a bug...add your feedback here on what you think of it https://care.king.com/en/candy-crush-soda-saga/is-your-candy-crush-soda-game-running-fast and if enough people do not like it hopefully it will be put back to normal.

No I do not like it at all...makes me feel anxious when I play it. Will not play again until I'm taken out of this a/b test.

Seems to be all levels and I have tried the troubleshooting...force closing, rebooting phone, reinstalling the app and same results.
