hello thank you for your response. Yes I have unlimited data. Playing on iPad Pro. With latest update. Also tried on iPhone which has unlimited data too. Still no joy. Yes tried the soft reset.

my iPad and iPhone both have their only own data plans. I don’t have Wi-Fi at home. I live in the sticks. (UK) My data works fine on all my other apps including all the candy crushes. Just doesn’t work for solitaire. Does solitaire actually need Wi-Fi ?
