That's because those features aren't available when playing on FB, I think their exclusive to Mobile and Tablet platform.

What are you doing to go back on your Android, using the exit button in the game or are you using the "backspace" device button?

Couple of things you can do, first check that your OS and game apps are all up to date. Another thing to make sure is that you've enough free memory available on your tablet.

I've seen this happen to a lot of iOS users and this generally solves it: go into Safari and make sure you are logged into your FB account from the FB site directly. If you've already done that, clear cache from Safari and try again. When you hit connect in the game it should sign you into that account.
