Hello @dotarnot, Hearty Welcome to the Diamond Diaries section of our friendly King Community
There is an issue with Facebook from Wednesday to send or ask Lives. It is the same on PC and mobile devices!
But, on Mobile devices, it was being possible to close down that window once we see error message, we can close that dialogue box and go back to the game. But on PC, like you said, it is getting stuck there and unless until we "Refresh" the browser, we cannot get rid of it!!!
So, anyway, King team members are aware of this issue and are working hard with Facebook people to fix this issue. Just to let you know that this is not the issue only for King games, but all games are having the same issue

Hopefully, the issue will be fixed soon and we will be able to send / ask for lives again!
