9 gold bars mysteriously missing!

Bit of a strange one this. I was stuck on a level for ages which in turn meant it also took ages to gain the number of diamonds required to make a necklace. Anyhow, I got there eventually but in the end, successfully completed the level I was stuck on without having to use gold bars.
Before getting the additional 10 gold bars as a reward, I only had 1 so this gives me a total of 11.
Fast forward a few levels and I'm stuck again but when I've gone to use gold bars in order to gain 5 extra moves, I find I only have TWO gold bars left?! Where's my gold bars gone?!
First time I've ever known this happen! I'm currently on level 2269.

So you can report this to our Player Support team here and send your Game ID (How to find your Game ID), then you wait for Community Team longer and how they can help you. 😊

I've had 2 automated emails containing links to these forums and help centre but on checking out all the known issues, I can't see any that refers to missing gold bars.
With the first email, (same as second) it says ## Reply above ##, which I did (along with my Player ID) but no actual response to my dilemma. :(

Yep! You are right as I have tried playing this level many times but it's still failed. It's too less moves and impossible to collect the dolls.
