I have noticed if I play the sun and strawberries I get more snow balls. When I match the onions or carrots the snow balls go away but I run out of lives to complete the task. HELP!!!

Since this new update all the characters are very animated and slow, levels are taking longer to complete, boosters run out faster, I have lost my race and win streak, this is boring me. Do we get the option to choose old version or new version? Otherwise just delete!!!
