Why am I losing magic beans every time I play Farm Heroes Saga?

I am on level 261. In the last 10 levels, I will start out with a few hundred magic beans and after playing a few times, I'm down by half or more.

This is a Rancid level so maybe when you start the level you are clicking the last box, which is easier but uses some of your magic beans.

It's also happening to me but it's nothing to do with the Rancid levels. It is happening each time I lose a life and click to replay... I worked out once that I lost 90 beans simply by clicking play. I've also gone from the 30 thousands down to 7000.This is a Rancid level so maybe when you start the level you are clicking the last box, which is easier but uses some of your magic beans.
