Farm Heros Saga - Unable to choose special items at the upper right corner.

I am in the 600's level and am not able to click on the special items in the upper right hand corner of the screen.   When I click on them nothing happens.   I have just added more items from the daily page and thought that would fix it but no luck.   Has anyone else had this problem.   I have updated my Adobe and cleared my history with no luck.   I am also not able to purchase additional gold.  It keeps saying that the transaction was halted and no money was deducted from my account.  Hope someone out there can offer a solution.  Thx!!

Have you tried this in another browser? Try google Chrome for example.

Are the little icons grey or do they have color? Do any other parts of the game act in this way?
