I have lots a beans and would like to use them, when I go to buy a booster with them it only gives me the option of using gold and not the beans how do I change that??

It's not possible I'm afraid. For as long as I have played the game, you can only buy boosters with gold bars. The magic beans are to help with the Rancid levels etc.
