How do I destroy the spider's nest on level 270?

I have been trying to get past this level for a year now, No matter how many apples & carrots I get the spider keeps jumping to the other nest. I have tried the shovel & running over the entire row. Nothing works

In order to collect them clear the Cobwebs so you can make a match next to the Spider. When a match has been made, it will jump to the next Spider Nest on the board. Once all the Spider Nests are clear you will collect the Spider.

There must be a problem with the game because it seems no matter what I do the cobwebs do not disappear. Thank you for taking time to help me
