Events ended after about 12 hours when the timer indicated they still had 60 or so left to go

Had not played for a couple of months playing on my Tablet closed game when I went to play again a few hours later a couple of events had jost started chochoos chalenge and egg cracker. When I played this mornjng they where there and where gone half an hour later please exlpain
