How to collect fireflies

I match next to the fireflies they light up then match next to it again to collect it and it closes the light goes away

Hi Stacy, I don't know what level you are on but I have a video demo to show you
If so much as one isn't lit, they won't budge. One match against them opens their wings, one match lights them up. Once they are all lit they will all fly away.

To collect the fireflies you must:
(1) Make a match next to a firefly to open its wings.
(2) Make a second match next to a firefly to get it to light up.
Steps (1) and (2) will affect each firefly adjoining each match.
Once ALL the fireflies on the board are lit up, they will all fly away.

I am new to the fireflies, could someone enlighten me as to what I need to do to play for fireflies?

Hi @wardfantasy and welcome to our friendly forums. To add to what @MountainMom said, you can also open fireflies with a shovel or run over them in the tractor.
