Quests require hard levels, but there aren't any

Hi @Rancid as Mark stated before, its not going to be fixed anytime soon as they are busy working on other aspects of the game. It will get sorted but may take a while as the team have to prioritise the issues. I understand its annoying but at least you can still play and access the quests

Curiosity got the better of me, so I started a new install on my mobile. I didn't log in and got to about level 85, and didn't see it at all. So it looks like it's finally gone. Just save your game, do a clean install and log in. Problem solved.

Here is some interesting feedback. Originally I was playing on my Android phone and got this all the time.When I got to level 505, I saved my progress and installed the game on my Samsung Galaxy S4. It's much better playing on a big screen. I obviously started the clean install on level 505 and I am now up to level 1000 or so and I haven't seen any hard level requests. So maybe if others saved their progress and deleted/re-installed the game, it might ix it for them too.

This has been reported to the game studio but unfortunately it will not be fixed for the time being. This also means that the current (and only) work-around is to use the refresh quests icon. I know this is far from perfect but I hope you'll be able to try out the quests or alternatively leave them for now until this issue can be fixed.

Hi @sphinges time is irrelevant with bugs I am afraid, they fix them according to priority. Highest being the game isn't working, lowest being problems with freebies being given. Along with making new levels and events etc. The size of the studio isn't unlimited. They only have a certain amount of staff so need to priorities. Its on the list I will see if there is an update

iOS 7.1.2, and even if you scroll backward to the beginning of the game what used to be Hard Levels are not Hard anymore. Just change the quest to beat a Super Hard Level.

I’m late to this conversation but I have both issues. I find also if you refresh a quest that isn’t a hard level one it will then give you a hard level quest 75% of the time.
I play on iOS with the latest update and with a King Account

Same issue here. I'm on almost the 600 th level and have only had 2 hard levels from before a update. In the very beginning. In the last 500 and so levels there's only been regular or super hard levels. Which don't count on quest for completing hard levels. I'm playing on android phone.

The problem with refresh is it takes maybe 24 hrs until you can refresh again. I sometimes get the hard level quest immediately after refreshing but for a greater number of levels. There are other issues too like the treasure quests that never arrive. Maybe if there’s no fix for the problem they should take the time limit off for the refresh? That’s my suggestion anyway as I could be content dealing with the problem in that way.

I've heard back from the game studio. They are aware of the issue - the hard levels were removed a while back and the plan was to also remove the quests. The issue is on the to-do list and the work-around (although it's not perfect) is to refresh the quests using the little icon to get a new one.

Hey Sodafan, so the superhard ones don't count? Just to clarify? I know that the studio updated it a while back, so I am going to ask one of the moderators to pass it over to the team. Obviously this is one side effect they didn't think of!

That's right. For example, I have a quest that requires 2 hard levels. I pass a super hard level and the quest counter still says 0/2.

Hi everyone, perhaps @MarkHawk our community manager could ask the studio if they are any closer to sorting this? Perhaps it should ask for super hard levels as they removed the hard ones from the app.

I too have quest for hard levels which I cannot complete; I have looked back from 350 to level 1 and can't find any. Please elevate to higher level support.

I am tagging @MarkHawk again, but it’s been Christmas break and the community managers have taken some much needed time off. He will see the tags, but I bet he has quite a few lol. The issue is originally there was only normal and hard levels on mobile. Now for whatever reason all the hard levels have been changed to super hard...but the quest system hasn’t been altered. He will look into it though and if necessary prod the studio

I'm not sure if its a recent change which can take a while to filter through accounts, or a test. I think Rancid has locked @MarkHawk up or the studio are holding him hostage before they tell him lol. He will appear at some point though I am sure
