Frustrated Games set too hard and have to wait for programmers to make it easier at 1900 levels

I have been playing this for years. At one point I was with the programmers waiting for new games to be loaded. Now the programmers have gone to the other extreme. I was in front of some players by over 200 levels and now they have caught up because the games are originally set too hard. I wait some weeks and then it is make easier but in the meantime the other players only have to play the easy changed versions. Of course they have caught up. Now I am at 1962 at the moment. Everyone around me is stuck too until the programmers make the level at least plausible to get. I do not see the point at all. Where has the fun gone from this game.
