i have tried force closing , turning iPad off , but I am still frozen on game 1439

Hi there Joanneking! Welcome to the Farm Heroes community
I suggest you start by updating the game on your app store.
If the issue is still there then try this workaround: make sure the game is connected to Facebook to sync your progress. You can now play the level on Facebook from a stationary computer. Once you have completed the level the progress will sync back to your iPad and you should now be able to continue there
