No special events for a month

I haven't had any special events for awhile now.  Usually have a Christmas game.  Why?

Hello @daniscats and welcome to our friendly community.  I only currently have Winter's Eve as a special event. That is the only 'holiday' type event I am seeing.  Do you have this event?  Also - not everyone gets all the events.  For example - I have not received either of the last two Hatch the Golden Egg events.

I am the same as bearwithme. I have the winter event and also missed out on the two Golden Egg events. Both of those awarded 15 gold bars to everybody who completed either of them. Which was a total of about half a million people.
