I am sorry to hear about the issue with your game!
I am assuming that you are on a Laptop! Which browser did you use / the sad face appear on the screen? Did you try to open the game on a different browser?
If you have saved the game through Facebook, you can try "Facebook Game Room" too. If I remember correctly, it looks like the issue is with "the browser", but not your game!
Can you please check that out and let me know?

Hey! According to some google experts, A frowny face is shown when a renderer crashes or is unexpectedly killed whether by the user, system, or browser. This will usually be an issue if you don't have enough memory, which means if you aren't doing anything to Chrome the PC Might be accidentally killing the renderers to free memory.

It was often caused by flash crashing as well but we no longer use that, so hopefully it rarely happens now.
